German authorities shot a male equipped with a pickaxe and a Bomb near Hamburg’s Reeperbahn, the greatly touristed street in the heart of the port city’s traffic signal district.
The male was struck in the leg by an armed officer on Sunday afternoon and is now getting medical treatment, a cops representative stated.
“According to existing understanding, there is no football connection,” he included.
The Netherlands is playing Poland in the future Sunday.
Hamburg is among 10 German cities hosting Euro 2024 matches.
