Fort Lauderdale police officers swarmed the area near a hotel in the Harbordale neighborhood following reports of a shooting Thursday morning.
Dozens of officers and a SWAT team were seen around 9:15 a.m. near a Holiday Inn Express, 1500 SE 17th Street, the Herald’s news partner CBS News Miami reported.
Details about the reported shooting were not immediately known.
