Reality Tea

As Ben Franklin stated, “In this world, absolutely nothing can be stated to be specific, other than death and taxes.” Genuine Homemakers of Atlanta star Kenya Moore just recently discovered the reality of that old saying.

March 14, simply weeks before she was apparently suspended from RHOA, the tax guy came calling with a costs for almost $15,000. Obviously, Kenya forgot to pay her Fulton County, Georgia, taxes in 2023.

Court files reveal Kenya got a “Fieri Facias,” a court order buying the Constable to gather either the quantity owed or to gather residential or commercial property to please the judgment. The county has yet to submit a release on the lien.

This isn’t Kenya’s very first twirl with the tax collector. In 2018, the internal revenue service submitted a lien on Kenya’s residential or commercial property for $150,000, for the 2016 tax year. That expense was ultimately pleased and launched, according to In Touch.

In addition to her tax difficulties, Kenya is dealing with the loss of her Bravo income. Simply recently, news broke that Kenya was suspended from recording for inappropriate habits versus a co-star. Visitors at her Kenya Moore Hair Medspa were apparently surprised by popular posters portraying castmate Brittany Eady carrying out a sex act.

While Brittany didn’t go to the occasion, a number of other Atlanta castmates did, consisting of Kenya’s bestie Porsha Williams. Sources declare the profane posters were retaliation for supposed hazards Brittany made to Kenya before the occasion.

Production sources dismissed claims of a hazard, stating, “At no time was Kenya ever threatened with a weapon, nor existed ever a weapon present throughout the course of production.”

Following the accusations, Kenya made a prolonged post on Instagram. “Believe none of what you hear and half of what you see,” she composed. “The reality constantly emerges … I would never ever participate in vengeance pornography, I have actually never ever dispersed personal images or video footage of anybody, nor got images owned by others to utilize to threaten or blackmail, [and] I have actually constantly been vindicated. I can’t speak about STORY even with individuals planting phony news #sweet16.”

Castmate Drew Sidora published on social networks, “I’m flabbergasted and floored.”

In her defense, Brittany reacted, “It’s never ever an excellent sensation being targeted or HAZED by somebody I believed would accept me into a brand-new circle, that I never ever satisfied … For the record, I’ve never ever when had ownership of any weapons or threatened anybody ever. I’ve never ever been to prison, in [a] battle, and even had as much as a speeding ticket. That’s not my character. I am injured by the story that’s being shown. Incorrect is incorrect.” It’s quite unfortunate for her to come into a brand-new task currently handling such straight-out hostility from a colleague.

Bravo has yet to comment. Maybe if Kenya is apparently suspended, she can deal with this tax scenario…

Genuine Homemakers of Atlanta is now streaming on Peacock.
