PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A Portland nurse got back Saturday night after 3 weeks dealing with clients hurt in the war in Gaza.
Monica Johnston, a burn professional, belonged to a medical objective of volunteers arranged by the Palestinian American Medical Association. Her group of 19 was operating in the only operating health center in Gaza’ southern city of Rafah in really difficult conditions.
